Underwater views of Lake Pleasant

August 2003

Lake Pleasant is one of only a few natural lakes in western Pennsylvania. Like all our natural lakes, it was created 16,000 years ago as the last glacier retreated. Lake Pleasant is one of the highest quality, least disturbed glacial lakes in Pennsylvania.
