Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Photo Contest 2009

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy sponsored a contest for photos of landscapes, waterways and wildlife on WPC-conserved properties. These are the photos I sent.

Laurel Ridge State Park hosts a network of cross-country ski trails. This was a quiet day after a snow, with the sun glowing behind the clouds.

Salisbury Trestle

The Salisbury Trestle carries the Great Allegheny Passage high above the Casselman River valley just west of Meyersdale, with spectacular views up and down the valley. This photo shows a group of bicyclists on their way from Washington DC to Pittsburgh.
