Bends of the Potomac: Hancock to Paw Paw

Look at the pictures for Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday   Back to trip overview

Between Hancock and Paw Paw, the only currenly inhabited places are Little Orleans and Paw Paw. The main attraction, of course, is the Paw Paw Tunnel

Bill's place burned last year. We (that's Jim, Roy, Linda, and the photographer) are pleased to report that the new Bill's is open and operating

Linda and Bob from Iowa had met me on the internet while planning their trip from McKeesport to Washington DC. They stopped to chat when our paths crossed between Bill's and the Paw Paw Tunnel. At Larry's request, they wished Roy a Happy Birthday. Roy says, "332 to go".
